I will be posting more here as I continue to move content to this online site. Here is an interesting tele-opthamology system. Most telemedicine has been in radiology or other 2-dimensionally capturable practices. Rural provision is improving partly due to ability to provide care through technology.


I have had the chance to evaluate a few telemedicine programs. One focusing on diabetes care and another focusing on broad GP diagnostic and follow-up care. The diabetes program is very focused. The general practice program is not. The GP program failed. I can identify factors as to why it failed but have not yet put together the papers. Comments welcome.
