My research shows these are the entry technologies for the workforce to get into more advanced computing. Managers can take specific steps to use them to get employees using improved communications and collaboration practices. Of note in this space, there are a wide variety of clients. IBM and AOL were in this space a long time ago along with CUCME (pronounced "see you see me") and ICQ.
