So, I inherited a bottle cap collection from my dad and uncle. It stretches back to the beginning of the crown cap in 1890 or so, and I have enthusiatically circled the glode scanning the streets and gutters for caps. I note this only as a consideration in understanding my enthusiasm about the MyCokeRewards program currently running. Coke is taking advantage of the advancement of technology and the ability to uniquely print bottle caps to customize rewards programs at a here-to-fore inaccessible level of granularity. It is quite amazing.

I should note too that I tried using the text messaging option to check my reward and was unable to get it to work successfully! It turns out you must register your phone account online first.
